The Challenge criteria are very simple…
- Have fun. No quilt judges are going to be assessing your quilt, so try new things, play with ideas and enjoy the process.
- Using the Art Gallery Dragon Fruit fabric provided by CQ Surrey, plus any other fabric/paint/material of your own choosing, produce your Challenge artwork by the May meeting. We hope you will be happy to share your Challenge artwork at this meeting.
- Your Challenge artwork can incorporate any technique or style but should conform to the general definition of a quilt ie be a least two layers held together with a reasonable amount of stitch. For this challenge we are looking for 2D work only.
- The maximum size should be 12”x 16”, landscape or portrait.
- The artwork should be finished in keeping with the style of the work eg faced, bound, bagged out or raw edged.
