Our November meeting gave us the chance to get up to speed with the planning for the Denbies exhibition in January 2026. A number of members had brought along their Wine Challenge pieces – no pictures here – you will have to wait for our exhibition! All I will say is that they will not disappoint.
In the afternoon Jane Wheeler gave a workshop on making Singleton buttons. I don’t think any of us will be buying buttons ever again! I look forward to seeing them in some of our future textile creations, garments, bags etc. The good news is that they are easy to make and they give a very professional,
personal touch. Indeed, royalty has been known to wear them. Some of our
creations are shown below.
