The Quilters Guild Region 2 annual quilt show is held at Lullingstone Castle. Entries are invited to the general exhibition and the Lullingstone Challenge. The quilts are displayed in a large marquee in the grounds of the castle.
CQ Surrey was invited to exhibit some of the CQS challenge quilts made by members during 2023 and 2024.
The theme of the Lullingstone Challenge was “Walk like an Egyptian”.
The challenge was won by CQS member Deena Goff with “Walking Through the Colours of Egypt”.
Second place was awarded to CQS member Yvonne Phennah with “Sands of Time”.
3rd place was awarded to CQS member Sue Norgrove-Moore with “Walk like an Egyptian – Woman”.
